As a founding member of Xtreme Entertainers, Tony is quoted as saying “I have surrounded myself with some really great people.”
He joined his first Garage rock band at the age of thirteen. “We were just trying to impress our childhood girlfriends back then,” said Tony. “not much to talk about but we had fun.”
He took opera voice training from his uncle from age thirteen to fifteen, while singing with his first band, “The Miniature Breadboard Tubesocket.”
Other live bands he was involved with were “Jordan” which provided fun times at dances and weddings. “Little Rock” which he feels was the best live band he was with back then.
There were many other studio band gigs and the most recent live band was a thirteen piece band hailing out of Peterborough Ont. Called “The Power Connection where he tributed Chicago and Peter Cetera.
In 2002 Tony and Co-Founding member John Cigan joined up to become “Xtreme Entertainers.” Tony has since taken over the reigns and has brought the troupe to what it is today. One of the most exciting shows you’ll ever want to see. When asked of his performers and himself, all he says is “ I just hope people remember something special in their lives when they hear us sing our songs. When that happens... It’s Magic.”
For thirteen years there was no music in his life when Tony was diagnosed with a life threatening kidney disease. Having overcome the hurdle in his life and having produced their first CD, Xtreme Entertainers graciously donate $5.00 from each sale back to the Kidney Foundation to help fund research and to provide support and information to those living with kidney disease.
